Why does my boyfriend think im cheating on him?

my boyfriend thinks im cheating on him because i live in chester and he thinks that i am going to talk to other boys cause we have a long distance relationship so he thinks im cheating... and when i told him i'm not he didn't believe me and it hurt me so much that my boyfriend thinks i'm cheating on him i mean yeah i have male friends and all but i don't hang with them like that or i barely talk to them and my boyfriend talks to his female friends all the time so i feel some type of way when he talks to his female friends but i can't talk to my male Friends that's kinda messed up cause when i talk to them he swears i'm cheating... he tired to breakup with me cause he thought i cheating should i just breakup with him cause i really love him and don't want to make the wrong choice hear so please help me
