Target job application?

So a couple weeks back, I turned in applications to two Target stores. However, the second store was my second priority. I noticed that the position was open and turned in an application as first priority. Will I get penalized if in case they have 2 applications from me? I wanted to make sure and second priority seemed sketchy to me at the time.
