My girlfriend was in an abusive relationship two years ago. How am I supposed to deal with this situation?

I was in a abusive relationship too so i know where your g/f is coming from, its hard for someone to come forward and tell people what they went through, My new partner who i told helped me through it by just being supportive, and it will take time, for her to tell you means she trusts you, ( it took me ages before i could tell my new partner what happened to me). your just going to be patient and if she looks like she wants to talk ask her but dont push, it will get easier, just keep up the support and that you love her, You should like a great guy, Good luck with everything
