If I leave my pokemon in the daycare place in fire red will it forget the moves it already knows?

It's been some time sense i've played on that game. But if i remember rightly. When you leave it in the day care centre it does gain up in levels quite fast, but the problem is... they do give the pokemon some new moves, and randomly gets rid of one of its old moves. Hope this helps x
