I dont know what kind of car i should buy........?

Alright, im 16 and i bought a slightly wrecked bmw, and i fixed it and it was a great car.....except last week it was raining and i hydroplaned and totaled it. well now im stuck with buying a new car, i should get about 5,000 dollars from insurance, but my parents dont want me getting another nice car. and i definitley wont get the whole 5000 for a car, so it will have to be cheap. and i dont know what kind of car i should get now. also what kind of car has a good bit of power that you wouldnt reall expect it too. it can also be a truck. it doesnt matter what year, as long as they are dependable, have good power, and of course look good........
