How cool are the teenage mutant ninja turtles?

Definitely not as cool as when I was a youngster. They've gotten all , but they're supposed to be gnarly dudes and such. Plus, the new movie has way too much CG; why didn't they bring back those foam-rubber suits? Now THOSE were tubular.
